Hide Your Newsstand App

Ever felt like putting your Newsstand app into a folder but can't? Well now you can do it! Thanks to Filippo Bigarella. The best part is you don't need to Jailbreak your iDevice to do it.

Bigarella is an independent software developer of iOS since 2010. He developed apps like Springtomize 2, UnlockFX, PasswordPilot Pro and Cleverpin. He came out with a software for Windows and Mac OSX called StifleStand to help iOS users to be able to put their Newsstand app into a folder.

Here's how you can do it:

Step 1: Download the software for Mac OSX or Windows from http://filippobiga.com/stiflestand/

Step 2: Open the downloaded installer

Step 3: Connect your iDevice to your computer (it will show device connected if the device is connected)

Step 4: Click on 'Hide Newsstand"

And Boom! Your Newsstand is now under a folder named Magic (name can be changed)

It will not show the Newsstand icon on the homepage but you will be able to see the app when you click into the folder.

Let us know what you feel about this! Enjoy!
